DESCRIPTION:COMET\, or Changing our Mental and Emotional Trajectory\, is a program that offers a short training tohelp people learn a natural way to talk with a friend\, a neighbor\, or an acquaintance about potentiallyemotional or difficult topics. COMET is about preventing a crisis. The training teaches the COMETconversational guide and the importance of being “the other person.” The training gives you a chanceto practice the COMET intervening questions and plan how you can use COMET to have thoseconversations when you are concerned about someone’s well-being.
