Remembering Differently: Adapting to Changes in Learning and Memory

July 9 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

This workshop explores how memory and learning changes affect everyday activities and relationships, particularly when adapting to new information or technology. Participants will learn practical strategies for both individuals experiencing memory challenges and those supporting them, including environmental adjustments and communication techniques. The session distinguishes between typical aging memory shifts and changes that benefit from additional support. This information helps foster patience, reduce frustration, and maintain dignity while navigating memory and learning difficulties.
