Knowing the Person: Values-Based Care and Decision Making
November 5, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am
This workshop looks at how knowing what matters most to a person can better inform current and future care decisions. Learn about personal values, preferences, and what is important in daily life and bigger care decisions. Discover how shared and supported decision-making practices offer practical ways to include the person in decisions, even as their abilities change over time. Attendees will gain tools to handle uncomfortable conversations that enable decisions that reflect what the person would want, while reducing situational uncertainty.
