COMET, or Changing our Mental and Emotional Trajectory, is a program that offers a short training to
help people learn a natural way to talk with a friend, a neighbor, or an acquaintance about potentially
emotional or difficult topics. COMET is about preventing a crisis. The training teaches the COMET
conversational guide and the importance of being “the other person.” The training gives you a chance
to practice the COMET intervening questions and plan how you can use COMET to have those
conversations when you are concerned about someone’s well-being. This COMET Training is for all
adults – young, old, and in between. Presented by Larissa Bonnet, for questions call (307) 655-8421.
